Farrow Ribbed Scarf

I loooove the way this scarf came out! The Farrow Ribbed pattern has a great, lilting flow to it, which made making this scarf very enjoyable. My scarf knit up pretty quickly and is about 6ft long.

To make this scarf, you will need:
  • 2 skeins of Red Heart Sh. Dusk
  • US 8 knitting needles
Skill Level: Beginner

1. Cast on 37 Stitches. (You can cast on more stitches for a wider scarf, but you must cast on in multiples of 3+1).

  • Row 1: K2, P1, K2, P1....K1
  • Row 2: P1, K2, P1, K2, P1...
  • Row 3: K2, P1, K2, P1....K1
  • Row 4: P1, K2, P1, K2, P1...
By having the last stitch of the first row be K and the first stitch of the second row be P, it allows the pattern to look the same on both sides, which is great! If your a beginner looking for a simple but beautiful and rewarding pattern, try the Farrow Rib!
